How to install Pokeland World on Android
Why the phone blocks the install
Since September 30, 2026, Android has been blocking, on some phones in Brazil, the installation of apps downloaded outside the Play Store when the developer is not verified by Google. The rule also applies to updates.
Pokeland World is distributed straight from our website, so some phones show a message like "App from unverified developer not installed". Allowing "unknown sources" does not fix it.
The block is being switched on gradually. If your phone installed the game normally, you don't need to do anything.
If you got that message, pick one of the two ways below.
Way 1 — On the phone itself (advanced flow)
You only do this once. After that, the game and its updates install normally.
- Turn on Developer options. Open Settings › About phone and tap Build number 7 times (on some phones it is under Software information). You'll see "You are now a developer!".
- Open Developer options. They are in Settings › System › Developer options, or directly in Settings, depending on the brand.
- Turn on "Allow apps from unverified developers", or a similar name such as "Unverified developer apps".
- Confirm the security warnings. Android shows a few confirmation screens and may ask for your screen lock or fingerprint.
- Wait for the unlock period. For security, Android only enables the option 24 hours later. Leave it on and come back the next day.
- Install the game. Download the APK with the download button on our website and open the file. If the phone asks, confirm that you want to install an app from an unverified developer.
Important: don't turn this option off after installing. With it off, Android goes back to blocking the game's updates.
I can't find the option. What now? Google is rolling this feature out gradually and some phones haven't received it yet. In that case, use Way 2.
Way 2 — From a computer (ADB)
Works on any Android phone, with no waiting. You need a computer (Windows, Mac or Linux) and a USB cable that carries data.
On the phone
- Turn on Developer options (step 1 of Way 1).
- In Developer options, turn on USB debugging.
On the computer
- Download the Android SDK Platform-Tools from the official Android website: https://developer.android.com/tools/releases/platform-tools. Unzip the file into a folder, for example
C:\platform-tools. - Download the Pokeland World APK from our website and put the file in that same folder. To make things easier, rename it to
pokeland.apk. - Open a terminal in that folder:
- Windows: open the folder, click the address bar, type
cmdand press Enter. - Mac/Linux: open Terminal and go into the folder with
cd.
- Windows: open the folder, click the address bar, type
- Connect the phone to the computer with the cable. On the phone, accept the "Allow USB debugging?" prompt (tick "Always allow from this computer").
- Check that the computer found the phone:The phone should appear in the list with the word
adb devicesdevice. On Mac/Linux, use./adb devices. - Install the game:When you see Success, it's installed. On Mac/Linux, use
adb install -r pokeland.apk./adb install -r pokeland.apk.
To update the game in the future, repeat steps 6 to 8 with the new APK. The -r keeps your data.
When you're done, you can turn USB debugging off.
